A small orchestra on a play surface
Give little hands a place to explore more than one sound without spreading separate instruments across the room: that is the idea behind this wooden musical activity table. It brings together, on a raised play surface, a pastel xylophone, two small drum surfaces, a metal cymbal and a ridged wooden tone block.
The instruments sit within easy view of one another. A child can tap here, ring the cymbal there, and try a new sequence of sounds as curiosity takes over. The wooden beaters give the activity a familiar hands-on feel, while the short legs lift the play surface away from the floor.
It is a practical centrepiece for shared play: you can copy a simple rhythm, or let your child discover the sounds at their own pace. The photos show the xylophone with its several pastel bars, the two round drums, the cymbal topped with a red knob and the tone block set up high, as well as close-ups of each instrument.
Before play, follow the assembly instructions supplied with the table, check that the parts are firmly fixed and supervise play, especially with the beaters and the attached instruments. Toy to be used under adult supervision. Recommended for ages 3 and up. Contains small parts: not suitable for children under 3 years.
When playtime ends, the main activities stay together on the table instead of leaving a collection of objects to gather up. Set the stage for a small music session at home and let the next rhythm begin.
Before ordering, look closely at the photos: they show the table from several angles, with the xylophone, the two drums, the cymbal topped with a red knob and the ridged wooden tone block. Check that the space where you will put it is clear enough, then prepare a play corner where it will fit without blocking the way.
